Congratulations, Lauren and Louis! Lauren and Louis had the most beautiful classically Southern wedding day at St. John Cathedral and Le Pavillion in Lafayette, LA. Their wedding day was honestly so perfect – easy and it was clear the entire day that Lauren and Louis were just SO happy to be married.
Winter Wedding Day in Lafayette LA
Lauren and Louis planned a beautiful winter wedding full of elegant and classic details. From their gold and white invitation suite to Lauren’s beautiful dress, I was obsessed with every detail. Lauren prepared for her big day with her ladies in one of our beautiful hotels in Lafayette. She had an emotional first look with her father – and Louis even had one with his mom, too.
The newlyweds chose to do a first look before their ceremony. It was adorable – their huge smiles were catching! Afterwards, we headed to their ceremony at St. John Cathedral. Their ceremony was wonderful – perfect for the two of them and you could just feel the excitement from their loved ones as they were pronounced husband and wife. After the ceremony, Lauren and Louis posed for a few portraits – and they just couldn’t keep the grins off their faces!
Le Pavillon Wedding Reception
The wedding day was beautiful – but COLD. Lauren, Louis, and their bridal party were champs though. We were able to capture a few portraits of everyone outside before we moved indoors for the rest of their portraits at Le Pavillon before the reception. I loved all of the fun details Lauren and Louis chose for their elegant reception in Lafayette. One of my favorite parts was their make and take bouquet as guest favors! It was such a unique idea!! Lauren and Louis chose a pastel color palette – light blues, pinks, and peaches. Flowers were everywhere and it just felt like spring on that chilly day. My other favorite detail was their tiered wedding cake. One layer had a big bow that mimicked the one on Lauren’s dress. Another super fun detail!
