Elizabeth and Will are getting married – and I couldn’t be more excited! I actually photographed Elizabeth’s brother’s wedding, so it’s thrilling to be able to capture another special day for this family. I was so honored when Elizabeth reached out and asked if I would be the photographer for her and Will. All of this excitement made getting together for their beautiful Sacred Heart of Grand Coteau engagement session even better!
Louisiana Engagement Session
To start Elizabeth and Will’s session, we actually met at my studio! It was the perfect way to relax into our time together and help them warm up before we headed to the rest of the session. Elizabeth and Will looked amazing – in fact, Elizabeth did her own hair and makeup, which was so impressive to me! They are such happy people and laugh constantly together, so our session together was really fun. I love the way Elizabeth scrunches her nose up when she laughs! SO cute!!
After portraits in the studio, we headed to the grounds of Sacred Heart of Grand Coteau. This is such a gorgeous spot in the area! I love all of the architecture and big trees everywhere you look. Elizabeth and Will wore their initial outfits for the first part of our time on the grounds but then Elizabeth changed into the most fun pink dress! It was so cute and created lots of movement in their portraits, which I always love. They’re getting married this spring – and there was just something about that dress that was reminiscent of that season. Just the perfect pick!
Congratulations again, Elizabeth and Will! I’m counting down the days until your spring wedding!!
