From start to finish, Taylor & Michaels wedding day was a dream. They chose to get married at Squire Creek Country Club in their hometown of Choudrant, Louisiana. The venue was set on a beautiful golf course that set a perfect backdrop for their vows. A few of my favorite things from the day included sunset portraits with Taylor and Michael before they entered their reception, their band (Windstorm) that kept everyone on the dance floor all night, and Taylors removable sleeves she added onto her gown! They kept their bridal party small and decided on first look which made the entire portrait session move so smoothly despite the summer heat! Thank you both for having me be a part of this special day!
What’s your favorite memory from your wedding day?
“Walking down the aisle and marrying the man of my dreams was the best part of the day. I loved getting those few minutes to ourselves after the ceremony as well to relax and enjoy being husband and wife before walking into the reception! I am so glad we did the sunset photos just Michael and I right after the ceremony. They are so special and totally us!“
Tell us about your wedding venues & why you chose them?
“We got married at Squire Creek Country Club which is in our home town. Not only is it a gorgeous venue, but it was convenient for the wedding party, friends, and guests. Everything was all right there and the staff was incredible. They truly took care of everything and made the day so relaxed and fun! We did not have to worry about a thing.“
If you had to pick, what was your favorite wedding detail?
“My favorite wedding detail were my flowers. I love flowers an they totally transformed the venue and made it look so elegant!”
