When Sophie of Joli Petale first contacted me to do some photos for her business, I was thrilled! One of the best things about my job is the people I get to meet. I’ve branched out a lot lately and have made so so many new friends through the process, and I couldn’t be happier. All of the wedding photographers, vendors, planners, and florists here in Lafayette are some of the nicest people around who truly care about what they do.
Sophie is no exception to that.
While spending time with her in her cozy little studio, it was obvious how emotionally invested she is in her work. All of the details that go into each piece, the hand sewn beading into such delicate lace, and old vintage broaches that she reconstructs into new beautiful pieces give off such a romantic feel that just warms my heart. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for Sophie and her growing business.
